By investing in an Anagram fund, LPs receive the opportunity to participate in upsizes.

Yes. Self-Directed IRAs allow individuals to roll retirement funds over from traditional 401(k)s and IRAs into accounts that can be used for approved fund managers. Many investors see a benefit to allocating savings from their retirement accounts to make private investments, as the long lock-up of retirement savings aligns well with the longer-term time horizons and relatively illiquid nature of private.

Anagram is an approved manager with several custodians, including Pacific Premier Trust and Strata Trust.

Our funds have a minimum commitment amount of $200,000. By investing in an Anagram fund, you receive access rights to upsize investments. Minimums vary from deal-to-deal but are typically $100,000 or more.

After committing to an Anagram fund, we will typically call a portion of your commitment amount in tranches over the first few years of a fund’s life, to fund investments that we make.

Over time, our goal is for our investments to begin returning capital to investors via ongoing distributions. When the fund closes, a final distribution and return is shared with investors.

Individual upsize deals will have their own timelines for capital commitments and return of proceeds. Typically, 100% of the investment is called at the outset. Our underwriting will assume certain time periods for the investment, which are shared with our investors prior to commitment.

Our investors have access to our Investor Application. Whenever a new upsize is live and available to our LPs, we publish deal materials to our app.  Investors can login, review the deal, submit questions, and commit to the deal, all within the application.

Closed-Ended Funds

Fixed Life: Typically 7–10 years with defined fundraising, investment, and exit periods.

Capital Commitment: Investors commit capital upfront, and it’s drawn down over time.

Distributions: Returns are distributed as investments are exited.

No Reinvestment: Once capital is returned, it’s not reinvested.

Fundraising Cycle: Managers need to raise new funds periodically.

Open-Ended Structure: No set end date; operates indefinitely.

Continuous Capital Raising: Accepts new investors overtime.

Reinvestment: Profits can be reinvested instead of distributed.

Redemptions: Allow periodic investor redemptions (with notice and limitations).

Valuation: Requires regular portfolio valuation for NAV calculations.
